Weekend Level 6 Introduced
Saturday 21 June 2008

Advance CPD is pleased to announce an addition to its ILEX portfolio this Autumn. From September we will be offering not just the traditional evening based Level 6 programme but a weekend study version too! This is an important development for those students who find weekly evening study difficult if not impossible because of work or family commitments. 'It underlines our commitment to flexible study options' was how Principal, Adrian Mason put it. 'Our intention is to ensure that we offer as wide a range of options to our students as possible' he added.

The new programme will be run over five weekends an academic year commencing in October with further weekend study sessions in December, February, April and May. In addition, students will be given six assignments to complete during the study year and they will be allocated a personal tutor to oversee this. Examinations will take place in June.

The programme is open to all traditional Level 6 students and because it is a weekend based programme of study, the College hopes to attract students from across England & Wales.  It is an excellent alternative to distance learning providing continuous support and the all important class contact. 'It is a natural extension of our 'Fast Track' programme for law graduates' said Adrian 'It builds upon our experience and expertise in providing teaching that does not always follow the traditional  format.' It is one of the advantages of being an independent private College as this allows us to offer programmes that others cannot . It widens participation to those who would otherwise not be able to study said Adrian.

For anyone interested in this new programme, details can be found on the Website.
