Advance given Accredited CPD Status by SRA

The College is pleased to announce that it has recently been given CPD Accreditation by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. It means that the College will be able to provide SRA accredited CPD sessions for the local legal community and other businesses. 'It is a major step in the right direction for us' said Principal Adrian Mason. 'It will allow us to provide on-going training for solicitors in Shropshire and that will provide a cost effective alternative for local law firms'  he said.

The provision of on-going legal training is not just for solicitors and other lawyers. The wider business community in the County will also be able to benefit from this development. 'Legislation is changing contantly in areas that have direct conseqences on the business community'' said Adrian. 'We intend to provide seminars and updates to all concerned parties during the course of the next year' he added.

Following on from the successful visit of Sir Mark Hedley last month, the College will shortly be announcing further CPD sessions from its Castle Hill premises.
